
Ingredients:
- 200 ml water
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g margarine
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 150 g ground roasted hazelnuts
- 250 g ground biscuits
Additional:
- Ground biscuits for coating (about 50 g)
- Chestnut cream (Clement Faugier Crème de Marrons)
- Roasted hazelnuts
Preparation:
Add sugar to the water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, then add margarine and chocolate. Stir until everything is melted and smooth.
Add the ground hazelnuts and ground biscuits. Mix well, then leave the mixture to cool slightly.
Shape into balls of your desired size (mine were about 25 g each). Roll them in ground biscuits, then use the handle of a wooden spoon to make an indentation in each ball.
Fill each indentation with chestnut cream. Finally, place a roasted hazelnut on top of each “nest.”
